Hey there! I’m Geri Schaer!
That rhymes! I’m a Swiss-Filipino performing artist, voice actor, children’s entertainer, arts instructor and occasional costume crafter based in amiskwaciwâskahikan (Edmonton, Alberta).
I’m a graduate of the Canadian College of Performing Arts in Victoria, BC where I received training in acting, singing, and dancing, and thus built my foundation in pursuing my creative endeavors. Being a multidisciplinary artist, I always strive to use my previous training and experiences to guide me through every new project whether that’s in theatre, voice over, film, physical theatre. I’m very open to collaborate with others to tell meaningful stories! Having taught and entertained hundreds of children over the years, I’m truly in awe of that child-like sense of play and endless curiosity. This gets incorporated through my love of bringing imagination to life and always being open to learning. Forever a student!
My love of cartoons, fantasy worlds and storytelling keep me coming back to the arts & entertainment each and every day.
